Kelp (Glandular), commonly referred to as seaweed, grows along coastlines around the world. Botanically it is classified as algae. It is a rich source of natural vitamins and minerals, including essential trace minerals. Kelp is dependent upon the sea for its nourishment -- an excellent source since the sea is the repository of all the minerals that have been washed from the land through the millennia. The plant can grow as much as two feet per day, and the entire plant is used in herbology. [Image: kelp.jpg]
Kelp is especially high in iodine, which must be present for proper glandular function and metabolism. It also contains iron, sodium, phosphorus and calcium, as well as magnesium and potassium. Kelp is a source of vitamins A, B1, B2, C, D and E, plus amino acids. Kelp also makes a popular salt substitute. Because the plant’s nutrients come in a natural form, they are easily assimilated by the body. Each capsule contains 525 mg kelp.
Due to its high iodine content, Kelp should be used sparingly if a thyroid condition exists and consult your health care professional. This is why I ask about the dog BEFORE I make YOUR product.
Will these be available from your gift shop?
Judy this is all in the Halo mixture it involves the complete ist of ingredients.Once we establish how effective it is we will sell it and this should alleviate the need for single supplements whilst at the same time remove tearing. Its an all in one food supplement. The canine formula is what we are using as this particular supplement is also available for cats , it has cranberry as an extract but we are using that here anyway so its unnecessary to add .
This is what is in your tearstain remover
I wish you lots of luck with your product Karen. You must have gasped when you heard the news about A/E and A/G being pulled for the UK market. You will now have to work around the clock to supply the masses. When the US pricing is figured out I am going to try it for Charley. Did you have partners in this creation - vets, scientists etc.? What an entrepreneur you are!.

This is brilliant stuff.Amber's eyes were quite badly stained and now they are completely clear. Thanks Karen for such a wonderful product.
I would love a trial size if it is not too much bother. Think you have my address. DO NOT SEND if the postage is exhorbitant. I just received a calendar from my Welsh cousin - mailed December 12th air mail - received last week and the postage was 12 pounds. Cost more than the blinking calendar.

Sue:T:
Sue with pleasure,
can u pm me your address as I have changed comps so havent had chance to retrieve it from hard drive yet x

hi all

your product looks very interesting given the whole AE/AG bruhaha.

could you please explain how it works?

i was under the impression that the bacteria in the tear stains was also in the dog's saliva, hence red patches on paws etc.

thanks
Antioxidants are released into the body in high doses , they encourage rapid cell growth.
It is incorrect to assume that the bacteria comes from saliva, the composition of tears is high in iron . that oxidises onto the surface, it is there the bacteria build up if left. All dogs tear its just seen more in a white dog for obvious reasons.
Bodily fluids per se contain iron particles its that which are left on to surface that encourage growth of bacteria through oxidation in the first place. If those cells are oxidised within then the problem should be erradicated.

Research has found that dogs and cats that are given antioxidant supplements—such as vitamins A, C and E, selenium and alpha lipoic acid—have a stronger immune system and are able to fight disease and infection more easily than animals who eat a highly processed diet deficient in these nutrients.

Antioxidant supplementation is especially important for animals that are being treated for cancer or have other diseases that compromise their immune systems.By using antioxidant therapy we have thus far managed to stem cataract growth in a dog that was diagnosed at 10 months, in one eye its gone completely in the other there has been no growth at all in a year, that is excellent news for the dog.

I like to use lecithin in reasonable quantities as this is reknowned for assisting tearstain removal, hence the kelp, biotin and other trace vitamins .

thanks for the prompt reply

so does this mean that the bateria is still present but because the iron doesn't oxidise out side of the body the bacteria is unable to produce the enzyme responsible for the red yeast?

how quicky do you start to see results? and what are the other benefits?

ta
correct within 2 weeks
Addendum to that
These are suplements based they contain
Fiber, Acidophulus to maintain internal bowel, lower inyseine flora to normal
Cranberry to alleviate urinary tract infections and stones (all types)
sea kelp for immunity and thyroid balances
Glocosamine and chondratin for skeletal , lots more too

Is there any other way that i can buy this with cc or cheque.

I have an immense dislike of paypall... there is something unsavoury about them.:o)
Via my company

Chellie

:^)I just logged on tonite and was wondering how long this product takes to work ...

I have 2 :q::q:Bichon ... Bonnie who has just turned 7 and Mollie who will be 2 in June ... Mollie seems to have escaped the staining ;)but Bonnie suffers with a lot of staining :-((

I have used Angels Glow in the pastbut find it quite expensive :o)

Traci

Hi Sue, I am from the US and came across your site. My bichons arre on angels glow. Why did your market pull them away and was that recently? Thanks, Traci
Traci many owners here including me used Angel Glow, it was a brilliant product. It had been coming here for over 6 years with no problems from either UK Customs or DEFRA , however someone started to make out they wanted to import it here to the UK , (False) what they were doing was assessing how many users there were and they went from site to site doing this. This same person wanted to stop its use here for completely selfish reasons, they then made contact with DEFRA stating it was illegal as it was a POM Prescription only medicine due to the tylosin (antibiotic).

Defra were not that interested , they still allowed the imports until quite obviously the trouble maker repeatedly bombarded them with emails, telephone calls etc. we know this from what they had been saying on different sites over a 10 month period, they appear to have forgotten what they had written on different sites....

The rest is history .......

This same person had also been stating that coat testing was going to be a huge issue at Crufts this year, why , well possibly to make out they are high up in the Kennel Club , this was never done at Crufts, another ploy possibly...

If anyone wants to add to this feel free...
