Summer is a great time for all, but dogs get heatstroke very quickly, they must have access to water throughout the day, if white they need to have either sunscreen on or wear a dampened tee shirt.
Concrete gets very hot and burnt pads are commonplace during summer, make an area that has good shade an if necessary place down a wet towel on the floor surface this allows the dog to keep cool and more mportantly keep pads burnt free.
If you have a dog in full coat ensure they do not overheat , look for excessive panting and bluing of the lips, tongue and gums. Hot spots increase in the heat, if you see fluffy scratch cut down that coat, it soon grows .
